On the afternoon of July 17th, the "Dancing Through Millennium Frescoes: Bringing Dunhuang's Soul to Life" Sino-foreign Youth Dunhuang Dance Experience was successfully held. The event was organized by the Capital Overseas Chinese Education Alliance and co-hosted by the School of Chinese as a Second Language at Peking University and the Education School of Beijing Dance Academy.
An introductory lecture was given to the international students from Peking University's Chinese Summer School to give them a systematic understanding of Dunhuang dance, during which, the international students learned about the origins, characteristics, and most representative postures and hand gestures of Dunhuang dance.
