The 2024 Chinese Language Proficiency Competition for International Students, organized by the School of Chinese as a Second Language, was successfully held on April 25–26 in Room B101 of the Fang Li Bangqin Building.
The event attracted over 200 participants from 19 different classes, including long-term and preparatory programs. Competitors were divided into two tracks—elementary/intermediate and advanced—based on their Chinese proficiency levels, and they participated as class teams.
Each session of the competition was co-hosted by four international students, with judging panels comprised of faculty members from the school and class monitors. The competition awarded two First Prizes, four Second Prizes, five Third Prizes, and a Most Popular Award.
